Spring is around the corner can you feel the excitement it's bringing?

March is the month when we slowly come out of the winter blankets and began to enjoy more the freshness on the year, filled with the excitement of the experiences we've planned.

March is also filled with a lot of celebrations - International's Women's Day, Father's Day (in Spain), and also... a new intimate gathering that I've been working on lately.

Last March I was invited to speak about my work in a circle of women, who shared their vulnerability alongside mine. This was a memorable moment for me - first ever talk I do on the subject of body acceptance and the power of self-portraiture in person, in front of women of all different ages, in my mother tongue. A triple surprise that made a ripple effect in my work, feelings and purpose.

So this March I've prepared a few surprises and experiences for you and your loved ones...

La primavera está a la vuelta de la esquina, ¿sientes la emoción que trae consigo?

Marzo es el mes en el que empezamos a salir poco a poco de las mantas invernales y comenzamos a disfrutar más de la frescura del año, llenos de entusiasmo por las experiencias que hemos planeado.

También es un mes lleno de celebraciones: el Día Internacional de la Mujer, el Día del Padre (en España) y además… un nuevo encuentro íntimo en el que he estado trabajando últimamente.

Is Sensual the same as Sexy?

Short answer - no.

Long answer - here we go…

Sensual is about engaging the senses - touch, sight, smell, taste, and sound. As engaged they evoke pleasure, intimacy, or deep emotional connection. It’s more about feeling and atmosphere, often subtle, soft, and intimate. Sensuality doesn’t have to be explicitly sexual; it can be present in the way someone moves, the textures of fabrics, or the lighting in a photograph.

Sexy is more direct and overtly appealing to desire and attraction. It’s about being physically alluring and evoking a reaction based on attraction or seduction. Something sexy often has a more explicit intent to arouse or entice.

In photography, a sensual image might focus on soft lighting, gentle curves, and an intimate mood, while a sexy image might include bolder expressions, provocative poses, or revealing clothing. Sensuality can be more about suggestion and feeling, whereas sexiness tends to be more about direct attraction.

More clear now?

This is what I stand for and this is what I offer to my clients - a visual experience where they feel seen, acknowledged and heard, not just photographed with or without they intimate clothing.

Photography is 2 demential form to visualise reality, moments, people. It has power hold by the photographer and inevitably being their responsibility to what and how is captured and shown.

Sex sells, yes, for a lot. But how much would you pay to be fully seen and valued?

Sensual

Sensuality is the art of being present in your body, of experiencing the world through your senses with depth and intention. It is the warmth of sunlight on your skin, the lingering taste of ripe fruit on your lips, the way silk glides over your fingertips. Sensuality is not just about touch; it is the way music sends shivers down your spine, how a scent can transport you to a memory, how a gaze can speak volumes without a single word.

To be sensual is to be attuned to yourself, to honor pleasure in its many forms—not just the obvious, but the subtle: the rhythm of your breath, the feeling of stretching your body in the morning light. It is about savoring life rather than rushing through it, about embracing the richness of each moment. Sensuality is self-connection, a form of self-love, an invitation to exist fully in your own skin.

La sensualidad es el arte de estar presente en tu cuerpo, de experimentar el mundo a través de tus sentidos con profundidad e intención. Es el calor del sol sobre tu piel, el sabor persistente de la fruta madura en tus labios, la manera en que la seda se desliza sobre tus dedos. La sensualidad no se trata solo del tacto; es el modo en que la música te estremece, cómo un aroma puede transportarte a un recuerdo, cómo una mirada puede decirlo todo sin pronunciar una sola palabra.

Ser sensual es estar en sintonía contigo mismo, honrar el placer en todas sus formas, no solo en lo obvio, sino también en lo sutil: el ritmo de tu respiración, la sensación de estirar tu cuerpo bajo la luz de la mañana. Se trata de saborear la vida en lugar de apresurarse a través de ella, de abrazar la riqueza de cada instante. La sensualidad es conexión con uno mismo, una forma de amor propio, una invitación a existir plenamente en tu propia piel.

Level Up or stay the same?

Last weekend I attended a 3-day business conference by the well known Spanish formation Level Up here in Barcelona. The topic was Reinicia tu Negocio and was full of content, talks, practical and educational tasks.

As a professional who is establishing their business and work in a new country and new language for a second time, going to a conference like this in the local language and participating, making contacts and enjoying the whole experience was super nurturing and beneficial for me. I liked the organisation, what they gifted to all of us, how they structured the blocks of talks, the inspiring guest speakers who were invited. As a whole I liked the experience and it surpassed my expectations.

In fact I went without much of expectations for this reason - to be able to take it all in as a student, as a newbie, as open and receptive as possible. Sometimes we block out own flow of benefits by having too much of or certain expectations. It’s much more beneficial if we see the world from the eyes of the beginner, like a child who is learning about everything around for a first time.

I’m happy I went and manage all the 3 full days of lectures and activities. It was an experience I was in fact looking for. I see why they’re on the level they are and I loved the passion and commitment they have towards their craft.

January was great, let’s see what February brings….

The Love you constantly give out is not going to fill you in

How many times have you given all of your love to anyone else but yourself? How often do you fool yourself that if you show how deep and carrying your love is same will come back to you and fill you? Which person you usually put first - your child, your spouse, your family, etc. ?

Don’t get me wrong - giving love is the best you can do. And for sure the love and kindness you give out will come back to you in some way, share or form. But what you’re looking for outside of yourself will never complete you, will never make you feel the way you’re longing so desperately at times to feel.

There are different kinds of love, although the core feeling is the same. What we miss to acknowledge many times in our lives, especially when we’re young or unexperienced, is that the love we want is only possible to be received from someone or something outside of us. The love that we want has never been and will never be anywhere else but inside of our own Self.

The true ability to love and care about others is first reflected on the ability to love yourself. The way you treat yourself is crucial. We tent to give more than we actually have, emptying our own cup completely dry, giving to those we love from desperation and lack rather than abundance and fulfilment. What happens then? - we need up with a burn out, illness, relationship collapse and satisfaction. We say we did everything for them, we did everything they wanted, but what did we do for ourselves, what did you did for you?

How many times you neglected your own needs to please someone else, even if it’s your own child, to then receive unappreciation that made you feel even emptier? It’s hard to say no and ignore the needs of your loved ones, but you cannot give what you don’t have already. If you try to, and we all have done it, you do both party a disservice - you end up lacking value for them and drying out inside. A so called ‘act of love’ turns into a demonstration of toxic trades, patterns and behaviours.

Even on the plane they say “put your own oxygen mask first” - you can’t help outers if you don’t take care of yourself First. This is not a selfish act, but a necessity. It’s not something to be ashamed about, rather the contrary - showing act of self care is the way to teach your children and loved ones the importance and benefits of self-care, value and potential there is in the act.

So next time you feel tired, want to spent time with yourself, have a desire to nurture yourself in any way - do it! Do it for you, for your inner child and that will reflect on your current relationships. Your children will be happier to spent time with self-fulfiller parent, who let them drink from their overflowing cup.

You deserve it by birth right.
