You know your best way of functioning

Have you been told how you should work, organise your life or create? Have you ever been insured that their way of thinking, doing and functioning is the right way but you felt that things inside telling you the opposite?

People, often those closest to us, love telling us how we should behave and live our life. Like there is only one way to do so. Like Mother Nature create everything the same, functioning the same. If she did, I doubt we would’ve been here now…

It’s challenging to claim your rebellious nature in family/surrounding where this action was never really an option for anybody else before. It’s challenging to raise your voice and say your truth when all of the rest were trained to keep it low key and behave as expected. However, it’s totally worth it.

Society has build a working schedule based on one variation of the equation. 9-5 might not be the best, most productive way for you to make the most of your life and career. Having more quality withdraws from the society might be the most productive action you can do personally and professionally. Hustling is not everybody’s best road to success. The challenge here is comes as a self reflection - how to find out what’s best working for you and have a strength to claim it despite all the noice around?

I’m still on the road to self discovery but the more I walk on it, the more I see that we’re different for a reason, there’s no shame or failure in working your own way, our astrology chart and human design are extremely important guides on our journey.

We all know inside what is the best for us, we just have to listen.

If you can dream it, you can do it

Or at least this is how I push myself through hurdles when walking on the path toward a dream goal.

There are moments when things seems out of reach, but remember how many of those you made real at the end. It might take some time and battle fields, but what you have in your mind is there for a reason. The One who created us put those thoughts in our head, because they are for us to have, to do, to become. It’s out personal role that contributes to the whole. Each of us is as important as the others and together we make this whole thing function, go forward, develop.

What we want, want us back, we just have to walk the walk to get it. If you’re going through a hard period - keep going. If things are going well for you - appreciate it, but keep in mind winter will also come. Nothing is permanent, everything changes therefore we have to be grateful for every moment, bright or dark, as this is the balance of Life.

You don't now all the possibilities, so chill out

And focus on your life, on your craft, on things you can control. It’s a human nature to want to predict and control all the situations. Yet the mighty force we call God, Universe, Life has it’s own measuring methods.

I know you want to know how and when, but if it won’t be so great if you know it. We get bored and look for the next new, exciting, unknown thing once we get what we want. That’s why they say the journey is more important and exciting that getting the price, achieving the goal ever is.

I’m not sure when and how this desire of mine to go try new things and make my dreams come true came to me, but I do know how many things I wanted badly and once I got them 1) it was kind of surreal (as usually we tent to have dreams that are so exciting because we never get them, or do something to get them), and 2) it was shortly after the price achieved that I was already on the look for the next. In fact, I used to (and still in a way) struggle to celebrate my achievements and enjoy them on the moment.

It’s amazing how Life works, how and when things get around in the most perfect way, which is most often than not, the least of all we expect to be.

If things are mean to get to you they will. You don’t have to look, chase, micro manage the work of the Universe. Go do your thing, work on what you want to achieve, and let it unfold in front of you.

Self focus isn't selfish

It’s about self care. We can only give the best from us if we’re the best to ourselves. Yet we often do the contrary - trying to give out a whole bottle services out of an empty cup.

Giving is important but we cannot give something we don’t have. Energy, love, care, affection, patience, compassion are all in the giving bucket, but how often do you give them to yourself first? Do you take care of yourself the way you do it for those you love? Do you speak to yourself with a gentle compassion when you mess up? Are you patient with yourself when you’re learning something in your adult life the same way you’re when seeing a baby learning to walk?

Self love is not selfish, it’s essential. Put your oxygen mask first so you can help the one next to you.

It’s my birthday week this week and I’ve decided to take is as selfish as I can. To focus on me, my project and my craft. Not taking clients unless it’s absolutely necessary. It’s not a regular practice of mine but it might become one.

Same time every year...

It’s a honour to have retiring clients. Tsvety is one of them who unapologetically present herself in all of her glory. We did a corporate portrait session for her business as we did last year. But this time she felt more comfortable and asked me to do some sensual frames for her. That’s all I want to hear… 📸😊💃
