It's not easy, but it's worth it

To follow your heart, to stand up for yourself, to be proud of who you have become.

Life is what we make plans for while it’s happening to us. The more I grow in age and consciousness, the more I see how incredibly simple but seemingly complex it is.

I never knew I will be here writing this to you, but also knew I won’t stay where I was. What I’ve learned? - To value every moment more. Even the difficult ones, as they are just passing by just like the beautiful ones.

The impermanence of Life’s track used to scare me. Until I learned to observe it with curiosity and let it be. After all, we do not have all the answers or possibilities. And we definitely have no clue wha it going to happen or how things will turn around.

When it's time to change?

By will or by force? And why so often we wait for the force, even though we’ve had the desire much earlier?

It’s interesting how our own mind can sabotage us, it’s just trying to protect us and keep us safe. Even more when it has some kind of underlined trauma, It can trick us in thinking that the familiar bad is better than the unknown good. And here we are - facing the paradox.

There is a moment you’re perfectly familiar with, that you just make the firm decision to change, to move, to go, to stop or begin something that is beneficial for you, something that you’ve been secretly wanting for so long. This moment can take years and numerous of painful experiences, but once you decide, there’s no turning back.

Time is quickly passing by. Yesterday you said tomorrow. 10 years from now, you’ll regret you didn’t start 10 year ago.

We all know those lines, yet how long is it taking you so far to make that pending decision that will better your life and yourself?

Fear or Excitement?

They say the feeling is the same.

You fear failure, bulling, shame and guild, but what if it all works out? What if the fear of the unknown is actually the curiosity getting thought?

We will never find out if we never try what we want, if we never go where we’re drawn to, if we never look for what we want to find. The fear of regret is bigger and heavier than the fear of failure.

Time is passing. Time we’ll never get back. The fear stays the same. The lizard brain, the ego, trying to protect us are keeping us steady, where all that is needed is to flow along with Life. To trust the waves, the storms and the calm waters under the bright sun. To have faith that it is all working out, it is all arranging itself for our highest good, as it is in fact doing so.

We have no control on anything else but the way we perceive life. The way we choose to feel and the way we react. This shapes our reality and determines whether or not we get what we need and want.

So the question really is, not what we fear, but how we can keep walking with the uncomfortable feeling but with a hearth full of faith and trust in the higher conciseness, that indeed, has out back. Always.

Daily undaily

Variety of research shows that habits are build between 21 and 40 days. And if want the result but skip a step, you better start anew.

I’m aware and I go in and out of certain habits. Found out anxiety has been my main buddy throughout my life, so working on this (kind of toxic) relationship lets me deprive myself of doing what I like, want and really look forward to. Like this Daily Blog for example.

I think about it, think about you too. But also learning to allow myself to take time and observe myself, the patterns I carry and the reason I’m moving towards the goals I desire.

This is a simple note for you, for me, for us - the world won’t finish if you skip a step, if you slow dow, if you restart the game. Sometimes a daily practice is nonlinear, disorganised even passive. A daily practice is not also the desire to move forward, even while standing still but simply not giving up. Daily practice is also acknowledging how you feel, how much energy you have and that not all days you can be on 100%.

Don't grow up

Especially out of your curiosity and artistic play. That permanent state of exploration and trying all things we like when we’re going up simply disappears when the “seriousness” of adulthood becomes a default state.

Yet all great art expression is manly connected to that pure, curious state of mind where we allow ourselves to be and do by instinct, not by structure.

I’m guilty of living too much as grown up, self depriving myself of exploration and new potential work. I also have to remind myself to let go of expectations, to remove the describing social media full of other people’s life and let myself get into the zone, into creation, letting myself come back to myself.

It’s not too late and it will never be. Just come back to what you love doing and do it often. Grown up fast will always be there, but they don’t really fill your soul up.
