What is your relationship with change? How do you feel about the changes life trows at you, about how the people around you change, about the changes you have to make within yourself in order to become, achieve or develop that what you desire inside?
I confess - I used to fear change. So much that concisely collected, recorded and re-thouhgt moments so I don’t forget them. When my beloved Father made his transition to the Sky, this was one of my main goals - to NOT forget him or any moment we had together.
Life thought me change is inevitable. In fact essesncial. Witough change there is no growth, no further moment, no life. Our ego does not like it of course, as it can’t be controlled or predicted. Yet this is the whole point of it.
We are in a constant change, no moment is the same as another. What is now is gone in a moment. What is was will never be and what will be has never been before. We notice and enjoy how young children grow, but soon we forget this exact thing is happening to us with the same pace, even if not as visibly distinctive.
Change, as scary as is might seem at times, is a great thing. It means nothing lasts forever - nor the bad or the good. It teaches us to appreciate the moment, to value the colours of each experience.
Change means the seed we planted today will grow and give us fruits. It means the fruits we’re eating are here because of ours ancestors efforts. Change means we have the power to make a difference, even if we don’t see it in our life time.
Our body is also affected by change. It grows and it will die. It changes along the way under the circumstances or care we pit through. Every breath we barely notice passing through our lungs is a change that gives us the next moment of life.
Change is necessary, inevitable and enriching.
Take it with no fear, embrace it instead.
